Expanse Digital Pack

This brief involved both a pack design and overall brand identity. We were asked to come up with a product that might fit in a small box (W: 80mm, H: 130mm, D: 50mm approx.) and create a different pack design for 3 variants of the product. The challenge was coming up with three distinct designs that also had a shared brand identity. I chose portable hard drives, and created the brand Expanse Digital to sell 1TB, 2TB and 4TB versions. Hard drive packaging is generally incredibly bland and boring, so I wanted to create something that looked beautiful and excited users. The target audience were young creatives who work with large files and programs, looking to express themselves through interesting products.
The brief also required the design of a double-sided folded sheet to be included in each pack. To reward my target audience, I devised a creative competition in partnership with Adobe.
