NHS Cervical Screening Uptake Campaign
University of the Arts London
While on exchange in London, my group (comprising myself and three other international students) took on a real brief from the UK’s National Health Service. We were asked to come up with a social media advert encouraging young women to get their free cervical cancer screening. Women in the UK are notified of this screening by letter when they turn 25, so we noted that this letter was the most crucial part of the process, and developed our campaign around it. Among 7 other groups in our class, our concept won the brief, and the NHS will use our work in November 2024 as part of a localised campaign in Southwark.
